Pengawas Camp 2009

DAY 2

As I woke up the next morning, back aching, covered with road sand but thank God wasnt bitten by mosquitos, I felt as though i was in a very bad dream, but this is real.. Sigh.. another backbreaking day of 'fun' adventure. (3

I felt like a zombie who only got less than 2 hours of sleep. I think if i hadnt slept with megga and navin i would freeze. Because as i walked to the toilet to wash not bath, the 4am cold dark air was biting all over my body. I think i lost weigh just trying to keep warm heha..

I hardly remember what they told us at the meeting at 6am. The only thing i remebered was me, curling up in a ball while trying to get some sleep while sitting. Shieh Sen,a smart friend, was lying down flat sleeping, No FAIR !! As the early sun rose, we did some warm up and etc.. The comanders decided to incharge each group with an egg to learn about responsibility. This egg would later ruin my day.We played some games and by lunch was puffing slightly..

I noticed the food was a bit little. I love to eat and with this camp's activities i felt i could eat a whole cow and drink a lake. After the meal, hungrily i went find my group and help to finish our nature invention, another stupid activity. When i sat down, kneeding some leaves to make a fan, Then I accidentaly knocked down the bottle holding the egg.SMACK right on the ground, Crap!! Maybe the cloth cushion the fall, maybe it didnt break. As i opened it and unravel the cloth, I saw a crack the shape of the river nile on the side it fell.. Thanks Thanks Raja Mahadi PrefectBoard 4 sending me to this @#$% camp. I thank Jesus that i was teamed with a compassianate teamLEADER and sympathetic members/friends =)

After that we had a sexiest costume/dance contest won by dash dash dash.. Sherran, our leader almost won. I think the judges are sexists hehe..Moving on, we had a river walk. I, megga and navin were holding hands like true gays walking along the icy, wonderful feeling water haha..Did i mention we had to crawl on mud that smelled like urine and plasticine, while making sheep sounds. This is by far the most interesting camp i have ever been, But i would soon be wrong

During the night we presented our finished invention and group yell to the audience with a rouse of applause. The most funny invention was the 'Ahh..fan', This made the top comander laugh his socks off haha=D..I thought we could sleep now but a beep on the whistle sends us running to the field, ready for the Night Walk.Great, more walking

As I waited 4 my turn, I managed to grap a 1/2 hour snooze. To kill time i made new friends and strengthened old friendships. When it was my turn it was 3am, oh well might as well get it over with.. As i walked i felt a sense of aloneness i never felt b4. As the sight of the crowd behind me dissapear, I felt the cripping fear in my veins. But i also felt as though i was not alone. There were strange footsteps and visions that im not allowed to tell.I would later find out it was just a act played by the comanders. I pray to Jesus to accompany me and i soon felt at peace..In fact this is the most peace i had during this camp. Not the walks, not the flow of the river but the simple company of a silent friend and companion at my side. And as i walked back to camp, hands on my head like war prisonars, under the orange rays emitted by the street lights, with the sound of rushing water on my right, filling the air with a cool, rainy scent, I felt at peace and full of grace..  zzzz...
