For The Birds

I think about a week ago that by chance a little baby bird was found by my maid beside a car. this baby bird apparently was learning to fly when it fell into our garden and was left behind by its mother.. The bird was a baby sparrow and it was so small that it fitted snugly inside my fist. It was the most cuttest thing u have ever seen, with its small bean size eye looking at u like a puppy, brown feathers with lines of black from its head to its tail.

i and my younger brother, Marcus decided to keep it overnight and we learnt how to keep it nice and warm.. from my dad. We lined the inside of a small plastic jar with lots of cloth and placed a torchlight over it.. My dad told us to place it on something warm since the light can blind it so we placed it on top of the aqaurium..

Me and my brother never manage to keep a bird alive for more than 8 hours but with my dad's help the bird thankfully lived to fly again.. The next day we debated whether to let the bird go or keep it another night. So we decided to let it go but when we did the bird would always hide under a pandan bush.. Once again dad saves the day, he told us to just let it be because its mother is looking for her lost son( i think its a boy due to certain observations) around our house..

We didn't had to wait to prove that he was right.. Its mom came down and i saw it falping its wing to reach her up in a tree.. I thought it was cruel that the mother would not help it but she was actually encouraging it to learn to fly independantly.. This shows that animals are just as loving and caring as us.. It later was reunited with its mother and they lived happily ever after...
