A trip to Pengawas Camp 2009

DAY 1

It happened on 18 and ended on the 20/april. I was reluctant to go cause i just finish the 2nd trial exams and just wanted to take a break at home, not fair l3.. i arrived at school just in time b4 the bus left and took my seat next to a form 3 malay girl. During the journey i chit chated to her, huei yen and a few more people and i was begining to enjoy this camp cuz i love making new friends.Sherran hosted a game where u had to do what the audience told u. i had to bow down and ask a girl out 4 coffee, hehe..

At the camp site, we did some exercises and learnt some commands. This camp was more like boot camp and the camp commanders were as fierce as dogs.. I almost lost my bag while joggong to the camp site, malu banyak, good thing a friend picked it up 4 me. Firstly, the comanders told us about the rules, regulations, blah, blah..., next we did some more exercise like rolling like a log on the wet grass.

 afterthat we were instructed to set up camp, yeah =) i joined megga, navin, kuben, and liew and set the tent on the road next to an open hall fairly quickly. After dinner, we had some laughs during the opening ceremony, once we had to make our cellphone brand ringtones, our group of 5 was "hello moto"haha.. We played an explorerace and ice breaker until 2 pm!! I was glad when we could finally sleep. i quickly wash up but couldnt bath cause there was no water, great..But there was a problem, the tent couldn fit all 5 of us. so i, liew & kuben slept first.At 3am i was woken up by gossip talk outside the tent, selfish buggers.

Then, i saw navin was sleeping on meggas chest,while megga slept on a his bag. i placed a bag under my back and lied on on his belly. Soo comfortable..His hands over us and warmth made me very sleepy.we chated a bit and slowly dosed off. b4 i slept i saw how a dark a forest can be. The absolute darkness coupled with that irritating cricket sound made it difficult to sleep.and then came a soft rumbling sound. I tried to figure out wahat was it and realised it was meggas stomach grumbling.a friend can heal pain in many ways and i dosed off along with my gay friends and meggas stomach..

Happening

A lot has happened at my home residence.. The tomatoes are now adult tomatoes, bearing little children. My baby cabbage has reached puberty and still gets daily urine baths from tyson, BAD TYSON !!!  When i see all these things, i would say in my mind

"im not going to let SPM, moral project or anything ruin this moment... not even 

the urine bath."

BAD BOXER, no dinner!! 

And.. oh! Miss Kampung Chicken has become a 3rd mother, with 4 eggs. Yeah.. free eggs, and organic too..But there is a down side, the eggs are sooo small. I thought they would be like the normal tesco brand size. They are actually smalleeerr.Pathetic..   T-T   Miss kampung, u have failed the chong family, now you will become Miss Roasted Kampung Chicken.. My brother says that size doesnt matter but quality not quantity counts. A kampung egg is said to have thicker white yolk and a golden yellow center compared to normal eggs, Thats why its more expensive lol..

Im not so sure i would eat that... sorry Bro, but 4 this, i say quality is in the 

eye of the beholder haha..

A Boxer's life - Food

Yeah.. i finally finished reading Marley & me and boy was it eye opening. The owner,John Grogan had lived a life with his pet dog Marley and i could empatize with that. When Marley died, i almost felt like crying but my manly toughness stopped me in my tracks haha.. But i realised that if u r an animal lover, cat or dog, hamster or bird, iguana or snake, u should always cherish every waking moment spent with your beloved pet.. Soo ill start right now

Tyson, is the only dog that i have ever reared who lives for 2 things and 2 things only, food and walks. Today its about the food part. During normal times, he will just goof around and just sleep due to boredom. But during meal time at 7 to 8pm, he'll start his begging routine.Stage one, Tyson will just lie at the door head up, staring inside waiting for me to feed him. Stage 3, he'll start a soft whimper that is extremly adorable. And lastly, Stage3, a long high pitched cry that is so desperate, it ll make your heart bleed. Tyson has to wait a bit for his dinner because it clashes with my dinner. But boy can the dog eat. I swear no other dog can eat as fast and hard as him. Once i gave him food fit for a pampered king's dog. I went back to fetch the rubbish to throw and there he was waiting and whimpering at the door for round two.And this is another character of his.He is just immune to fullness. Even with with a bolted stomach, he still isnt satisfied. If i ate or any dog ate like him, a ruptured stomach will propably happen. Thankfully i can sternly turn him down without a trace of guilt. Guilty as charged hehe..

Ambition and Dreams

haiz.. I cant decide what to do after my SPM. Everyday at least once ill ponder what will my career and what course or collage will i take. And finally today i think i decided what i want to do. It is healing people..

The idea of being a doctor isnt half bad. i love to help people in whatever way i can, so why not take a medical course. The second option is a better choice but still its not my first choice of a life career. It is veternarian. As u know i love animals and would glady take up this course to get to treat a real living or dying animal plus this choice has a better chance of a job because, being a vet is a very dirty and filthy occupation, so very few people like this job. Pity, so this gives it a high employment rate, hehe..

Haiz, both are such wonderful jobs, but which to do.. which to do..??.. T-T  

For now its going to be a Doctor, for now..

Yesterday was one of the worst day of 2009. Firstly, my tomato and cabbage hit its first agricultural problem =(  My tomatos were a victim of an ?unknown? ailment. It was growing perfectly normal but some of the leafs were cupped.   Solution 1, spray it with mosquito spray or water to kill an unknown bug egg in the leaf.. failed.   Solution 2, water the soil because maybe its a bit too 'salty'..fail.   Solution 3, cut out all the cupped leafs without remorse or mercy, and decided whether to burn it 4 revenge... sucess. I feel the cause is a plant disease which came from a totally infected tomato plant, all yellow and shivered up. Hate Hate Hate

On to the cabbage.. Guess what's the problem.. Insects, wilting, malnutrition, cupped leafs disease..nope, all wrong. The answer is, urination. My loving, caring, empathetic and cute dog/Tyson use my 4 month old cabbage plant the size of a dinner plate, as a fire hydrant. He will urinate on it everyday without fail to show it whose boss. I only noticed this problem when there was a hole in one of the leafs from u know where. There's even some sedimentation on a few leafs, eww..gross. Bad tyson. solution.. put the cabbage on a pot stand a metre off the ground.

other problems include @#$%$ moral project, @#$%$ art project, unfinished tuisyen work, no time for study or relaxation, and SPM.  Ggrrhh

But at the end of the day i still feel bleesed beyond measure with loving parents, brothers, a place to eat, sleep and study, my Lord Jesus Christ, Marley & me, friends to chat on blog & sms, tyson my still loved dog, unknown plant disease and of course my fire hydrant aka cabbage plant. yupp, Life has more pros than cons :D 

 

Champion of Sports

Wahoo, yesterday and today two things made my week besides marley and me. Both are sports.

First, Liverpool, my english football team thrashed Manchester United 4 to 1 at MU home soil Old Trafford. Liverpool I love u..

Second, Chong wei just defeated his arch and feared rival at the Swiss Open 5 minutes ago in straight identical sets.. 21-16, 21-16. Chong Wei, you are the man!     Infomant, my friend Shin yi
