Last week was the most tiresome week of 2009. i had to study and study for the schools monthly and i just wanted to get it over with.. looking back, i noticed i wasnt that jam packed.

Last week schedule: 1.mon, study study study eat study eat study zzz.     2.tue = mon   3.wed to fri, monthly test   4.sat to sun, freedooomm

Im soo glad the monthly test just finished. Now i can just sit back and... no.. wait....Spm !!! arrrghh..

why, why, why must study.. oh well, at least i can take a break this coming school holiday.hehe

Im currently planning to read a book that has just been made into a movie. Its called Marley & Me.I heard from two friends, one a doctor,and the other my classmate, that the book is about the life of the most naughty labrador whose simple doggie soul changed the life of a family. Im borrowing it instead of buying because books sold here are very damn expensive.. i hope i dont cry reading Marley & me cuz its also a super emo book  T_T

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Tyson just got involved in a dog fight that lasted say.. 1 min. I was walking him one Thursday evening when all of a sudden a small mixed breed dog, slightly smaller than tyson charged at him with teeths barring. It went straight for his front leg and managed to hold on only for a few seconds before tyson fought back, biting its hind leg. I knew this dog ever since i past its owner's house. He would bark madly at tyson and the n started biting his own leg.. Crazy dog is what i call him. On this particular evening he was let lose and i dislike owners who let their dogs out without keeping an eye on them. 

As the fight progressed i started to panic, should i let tyson go from his lease to fight him off cuz the lease was restricting his movements or try to pull him away.. Then they stopped and just stare at each other menancingly. Crazy dog's hind leg was bent as a sign of fear whether to fight or flee. He probably thought" U DONT SCARE ME " and bite tyson's back. And then a call came... at last the owner came. He tried to stop the fight by commands but crazy dog was determined to show whose boss. They stopped again and this time he placed his paw on crazy dog's back, as a sign enough is enough, it was almost cutish..

The owner managed to call it back and i had to drag tyson away. He was so full of adrenalin that he didn mind me treating his wounds =)Thank God he had only a few cuts and a injured claw. dont think im proud but boxers are very good at dogfights and if i let tyson go, the owner could have a badly injured dog in his hands xD. Next time im bringing a stick when walking dog.

New Chinese Year ^.^ ^_^ ^.^

At last the chinese new year calender has begun and you know what that means.. ang pow, firecrackers ( i actually dislike big firecrackers), food, openhouse malaysian style, food, and new clothes xD. I love chinese new year bcoz i can stay at home and dont hav to wake up 6am everyday for 11 days! I also get to visit my relatives and collect lots & lots of angpow. Sadly this year im not visiting one important relative.. my grandparents.I like visiting them bcoz they cook the most delicious sweet and sour pork, stir fried vegie, fragence rice ( diabetic and expensive ) and of course, no not ang pow, i get to see animals like chickens and dogs =) Never mind.. i still love chinese new year

For the first time in a long, long while, this CNY is a sunny, humid, and blisteringly hot one and not a monsoon season like almost every year. HOT hOT hoT.. 

Since this year is the year of the ox and not chicken, they have lost the mood to celebrate, haha..

There was a lion dance yesterday down my neighbourhood block and something strange happen.

Tyson started howling and walking and running all over the house including the inside which he is not allowed to enter. He started acting strangly when the drums started beating, gong. gong.. gong. gong.gong..., runing in zig zags, runing and hitting the flower pots. Tyson was in fact terrified by the beating of drums and begged to be let inside the house. Only when the druming stop that he comfortably went outside and relaxed. He also salivourate like a dog that just finish a marothon. I was a bit surprised at his behaviour because he is quiet fierce and would bark like a mad dog at strangers.  

 

Note to self : " to discipline tyson, use drum ". Im not sure whether its a boxer thing or just tyson's own fear. Tyson is also scared of fireworks. I had a great dane who, when a storm came, would hide under a car bcoz she's terrified of lightning. Even dogs who are guardians of the house, can feel fear. I think my dog will learn to hate chinese new year, haha..

uNkNoWn Dog

When ever i see a dog, the first thing that pops up in my mind is " Aww.. How cute" and " I wonder what breed it is.."

Iwent to my uncle's house and i saw one big, grey haired dog trotting towards us. It was extremly friendly, unlike tyson who would bark like a mad cow when he saw a stranger. When i touched his fur it felt like cotton, no wonder most people like furry dogs. Its name is not surprising is Hairy, but i kept wondering what breed it is. i stupidly forgoten to ask my uncle what breed it is but i think its a bearded english collie.. Although it looked big, it is actually smaller than tyson but the furr makes it look huge. I really respect people who rear furry dogs caz i would be half dead combing and grooming their furr and it woud be difficult to find those bloody ticks that suck the precious fluid out of of them.. did u know i got a tick that was attacted to my skin and my mom in her belly button until it balloned, gross. here r some pics of

A New Year

Welcome all blog readers to my 2009 version of my animal blog. There not much change but this year my aim is to put as many animals especially dogs ( my tyson included, :) haha )on my blog, and to score straight A1 iN SPM. :) But first i MUST LEARN, to stop ponteng or skip school if u dont know BM, it has become my habit to ponteng school when i dont feel like waking up at 6 am everyday. But this year my school teachers especially Pn Arumalar & Sumathi has motivated me to enjoy my school life and studying. Thanks teachers. 

Last year i planted some tomato and cabbage seed and my bro. marcus planted sunflowers. My mom is an expert gardener just like Hilmi in Konserto Terakhir.. maybe ahem better.. She enouraged us to plant vegetables or flowers, so my brother planted flowers and i, cabbages and tomatos.. now after 2 months of waiting we are finally reaping our rewards, actually only my bro is.

Im still have to waiting 4 more grueling months till mine are edible, Argghhh.   

  

Out of 15++ seeds, only one survived. The internet say cabbages are the most easiest vegie to grow, yeah right.

  

Tomatos are quite easy to grow. the first pics is my second atempt, the second pics is my 

first try but tyson step on all of the seedlings and this is the only survivor.. bad Tyson x(

This praying, i mean preying mantis stayed on ths sunflower for 2 months. Dad says it cant be reared and once it found a place 2 stay, it wont leave. amazing

Trachemys scripta elegans

Guess what does the title above means.. if u guessed its a scientific name of a type of turtle called a red eared slider, also known as green turtle locally, then u are absolutly right !! The reason i'm telling this is that today i will show u one my household pets which is of course a turtle..  my red eared sliders are David and Zechariah and u might be thinking.. why do u give names to a turtle. Well in my opinion, all animals and maybe insects have feelings and emotions, and i feel that they also have character.. that's only my opinion. now back to the topic, the reason i gave my turtle the name is that compared to my brother's turtle is that he is more braver and he loves to explore. He is also quite gentle and when i feed him he'll flap his front legs, waiting for me to feed him..:) My bro named his, Zechariah caz he think it sounds nice.. ?? no offence marcus :)

Turtles are mostly grass eaters but david and zechariah' s species can eat small live fish.. when i feed them they would chase it round and round until they would golble it up. but if i feed them fish their feaces..yuk..will be ten times smellier.euuuwww. i usually feed them turtle pellats but they also can eat greens like kang kong( spinach) and sawi. one time a over ripe mango fell into their aquarium and i didnt notice it until when i went to clean them. thats when i show a piece of thing in the water & i took it out.. there was a large crater with tiny bite marks and the worst thing was that the mango was rotten and had worms crawling in it..gross grosss.. thank god dave & zec survived, they even ate dried leaves!! If tyson ate just a bit of that rotten mango he will live for another 1 week..:(
